Multi - layer panels

Description of SWP

• panel made from solid wood, consisting of one middle layer and two surface layers with parallel fiber direction (5 layer panel has three middle layers and two surface layers)


•  the thickness of the layers differs and determines the final thickness of the board


• every layer consists of lamellas made of solid wood


• lamellas of every second layer are rotated 90°


• lamellas are glued in longitudinal and transverse direction in each layer and the layers are glued to each other


• lamellas of the middle layer have a maximum width of 43 mm, which improves board stability


• all lamellas of the top layers are positioned with the right-hand side up


• two surface lamellas from one board are not side by side


• surface lamellas always have identical width in one board, usually 134.7 mm, quality ME mostly 97.3 or 113 mm


• the glue applied is waterproof and glueing of the surface lamellas complies with AW 100 according to DIN 68705


• the surface is sanded with grain size 100
